Masterfuly written. Just enough detail to paint scenes but not excessive. The relationship and its drama are the main thing. I think the story delivers a surprise at the end. By the end of the story most of the vacant spaces in the story are filled in. You feel for Margo; you care. The future is left uncertain. The beginning paragraph is the present.
