This is a beauty! A perfect read on this prematurely snowed in and still snowing pre-Thanksgiving Day. I'm on the other side of the big lake--almost exactly straight across. It's firearm hunting season and our no-hunting-allowed state park is full of deer. Still I dress in primaries when I hike there and listen and look hard for any sign of hunters. Yes! The woods are full of color, even in the snow. You just need to see, maybe even open your eyes wider than usual, as the painter of Michigan sand dunes and farms, Elaine Wilson, advised us in a color class I took with her. Her kids make fun of her too! Here's to nerdish behavior in the 21st century. Thanks for this Amy.
