SFWP is an independent press dedicated to the craft of writing. We stand by our authors and we stand by our books, embracing new trends and ideas beyond those of the current publishing industry.

Our first title, released in 2006, is cult sensation Ray Robertson's Moody Food, the critically acclaimed rock'n'roll-suffused modern tragedy. Moody Food is a fictionalized saga of music, love and the power of revolution inspired by the life of the legendary singer-songwriter Gram Parsons. In 2007, we released The Fires, by Alan Cheuse. In 2008, we released The Dangerous Joy of Dr. Sex & Other True Stories, a creative nonfiction collection from Pagan Kennedy. In 2009, our release of the 20th Anniversary Edition of Richard Currey's international bestseller, Fatal Light, marks the culmination of nearly a decade of work.
