SFWP Singles for Kindle
In 2012, SFWP’s publishing wing returns with a vengeance. We’ll be taking advantage of the Kindle Singles market. SFWP will be among the first publishers to use Kindle Singles as a platform that will revive short form writing — novellas, short stories, essays — styles of writing often ignored by mainstream publishers.
Over the course of this year, we’ll be seeing brand new work from Richard Currey — a multi-part serial following his travels on the Rio Grande. We’ll also breathe new life into his award-winning collection of short stories, The Wars of Heaven, out of print for over a decade. We’ll see work from Alan Cheuse, James J. Patterson, and from the SFWP community — a decade of stunning authors who have come through the doors of the Literary Awards Program and haunted us ever since.
