“Please” by Ashley Elizabeth

Issue 24 / Winter 2021 / Special Issue: Pleasure

Swallow the sun with me
and the heat between
your ribcage will settle
betwixt strewn apart thigh
as you shudder, eyes
flutter indecently. I stifle
the urge to whip out a polaroid
to capture the sharp
inhale you take after
I paw the private parts of you,
hungry.
