something that does not or cannot change or vary
and yet I am in a perpetual state of motion, the only
constant a variable that cannot vary
the only truth in life a lie about truth, a fluid
proof that proves nothing
except that change is constant and real
A one-time teen mother and high school dropout, Dr. Larina Warnock serves the education system in Southern Oregon. She lives with her husband, three dogs, and a turtle older than she is. Her work has appeared in Oregon Humanities, Rattle, The McNeese Review, Abyss & Apex, and others.
